MONOMON＝monochrome monster
Everyone must have monsters in their hearts. Monsters drawn with ink and brush have been written since the Heian period. Monomon is an art project in which we, living in the Heian period, use ink to write freely on Japanese paper with a brush in our hand. It must be interesting to see everyone's monochrome monsters born!

Freedom to write to everyone. Yokai calligrapher Ouka visits child care facilities, welfare facilities, and various business establishments to hold workshops. For those who don't have many opportunities to touch ink in their daily lives, we will bring the rich expression of traditional tools and the fun of writing without correct answers. It is an activity that expands the joy that comes from a single brush to every corner of society.

Monomon, a yokai painted by children in ink, is exhibited and sold at historical stages such as Todaiji Temple. The structure in which the work is evaluated and the profits returned to the person in question gives children a sense of "connection with society" and "sure self-affirmation." The price of expression changes to the power to take the next step.

Yokai has been living in people's hearts since ancient times, crossing borders. The project, which depicts monsters from all over the world with Japanese ink and brushes, is an attempt to redefine traditional culture with modern sensibilities. We pursue an unprecedented global form of art that highlights the universality of the human mind through unique expressions of intercultural intersection.

Monomon stated in the articles of association, "The purpose is to provide a place for people with disabilities, developmental disabilities, and other challenges to freely perform and present their creative activities, and to increase individual confidence and motivation to do activities and to help emotional stability and functional training."
This is to create works of art in cooperation with children and people with disabilities, utilizing the experience of the representative yokai calligrapher Ouka, who once supported calligraphy for disabled children at a prefectural support school. I hope many participants will feel that anyone can become an artist = expressionist, and that they can live with confidence. The main activities are to create a place for presentation and set it up as a private exhibition, and to work on a calligraphy experience plan with the goal of presenting, appreciating, and accepting various people's works.

Art is connected
There are many different people, and there are many different ways of thinking.
In this activity, I wanted to know that there are many different people through works expressed in ink, and I thought it would be an opportunity for us to get to know and accept each other. Even though it is a society full of information, there are few opportunities to actually see and touch people from a world you don't know. I would like to promote monomon as an activity to promote the enjoyment of using ink, an important Japanese traditional culture, as well as as as an activity to connect people through art.
